Frida Haas
Face & Body Artist
Frida Haas, originally from northern Sweden, has called Washington State home since 2000. When she's not creating art, her vibrant home life keeps her busy with her husband, three children, two dogs, and a lively collection of goats and pigs. On most weekends, you'll find Frida bringing color and joy to communities across the region as she paints at festivals and events.
Frida began her face painting journey in 2014 while volunteering at a school fundraiser—an experience she describes as her "Alice-in-Wonderland moment," falling headfirst into the magical world of face and body art. What started as a single event quickly evolved into a passionate and successful career.
She has since become an internationally recognized instructor, teaching at premier industry events including the International Face Painting School Summit, FABAIC in Orlando, the ACE Convention in Austin, and multiple appearances at MAX in St. Louis. Frida is also a sought-after online educator, regularly teaching for FacePaint.com and other digital platforms, where she inspires artists around the world.
Frida's talent has earned her top honors, including 1st place in the MAX Body Painting Competition in both 2024 and 2025. Beyond face and body painting, she is an accomplished acrylic artist, competing with Art Battle International and earning the PNW Regional Championship in speed painting in 2023 and 2024.
Known for her creativity, versatility, and engaging teaching style, Frida Haas brings both technical excellence and artistic passion to every class she leads—making her a standout addition to the inaugural EPIC Cruise instructor lineup.
