Traveling all the way from Northern Ireland, Darren Mortiboy is widely recognized as one of the United Kingdom’s premier balloon artists. Known for his distinctive style and instantly recognizable designs, Darren has made a lasting impression on balloon artists around the world. An accomplished educator and performer, Darren has taught his innovative creations at conventions throughout Europe and the United States, earning multiple international awards along the way. Since beginning his balloon journey in 2014, he has developed a diverse portfolio of work and created more than 20 instructional tutorials, helping artists of all skill levels grow across a variety of styles and techniques. Darren is excited to bring his creativity, expertise, and fresh new designs to the upcoming balloon convention at sea—where he looks forward to inspiring fellow artists and sharing techniques that will elevate their craft.
